CALLING ALL LOGOPHILES!!
Are you a spelling geek who likes the taste of victory? Did losing your middle school spelling bee on the word "broccoli" leave you demanding a do-over? Buzzed Bee is your chance to conquer some words, prove your 5th grade teacher wrong, and do it like an adult--in a bar!
Buzzed Bee Entertainment is hosting an adult spelling bee at The Winey Wench Sanford that will combine some of that nostalgic middle-school spelling bee vibe with a super-fun, laid-back atmosphere, the option of beer, and the guarantee that each round will get more and more ridiculous. And, of course, we'll offer way better prizes than the "Super Speller!" sticker you'd have gotten in the 5th grade.

2:00pm check-in/sign up and grab your seat by 2:20-2:30pm.
You must be 21+ years old and we are restricting it to 20 total participants, so sign up ASAP!
HOW IT WORKS... Tickets are $10 ahead of time, $15 at the door. For each round you stay in, you will get a drink of your choice (aka "spellin' juice." ) The first rounds will be very easy to warm everyone up. Words will get harder each round, especially with the drinks involved
No ticket is required to stand in awe and applaud the Spellers. Audience members are invited to attend to cheer (at appropriate times), drink (at all times), marvel at the contestants' mad spelling skills, and drive their drunken friends home after the bee.

PRIZES... There will be goodies and prizes for the top 3 and first place gets bragging rights that you are the best speller in all the land!
We acknowledge that not everyone consumes alcohol. However, this is a DRINKING game so to keep this competition fair for those who are trying to test their capabilities at spelling while under the influence, we ask that our non-drinkers participate as audience members and/or designated drivers for our spellers.
